In this webinar, Dr. Heidari will introduce new and unconventional methods to enhance formation evaluation and reservoir characterization in challenging formations such as carbonates and organic-rich mudrocks. Furthermore, Dr. Heidari will,
- present both experimental and computational outcomes as well as field applications to demonstrate formation evaluation efforts for assessment of hydrocarbon reserves,
- discuss the enhancements of rock-fluid interfacial properties, mechanical properties and flow-unit detection by honoring realistic and quantitative rock fabric and geochemistry,
- explain the potential of these techniques for the description of multi-phase fluid transport and reservoir characterization with the intent to enhance production and recovery factors in complex formations.
