The SPE Student Chapter of the Universidad Industrial de Santander (UIS) will be hosting on Friday, July 2 @ 18:30h (Mexico City, CT) the webinar “Physics-Based Approaches for Numerical Simulation of Shales” by Dr. Bruno Armando López Jiménez, professor of Petroleum Engineering at UNAM. See you there!
Dr. Bruno Armando López Jiménez has been invited to participate as a guest speaker in the series of Weekly webinars organized by the UIS. In this webinar, Dr. López Jiménez will talk about some models for an appropriate numerical simulation of shales. Furthermore, Dr. López Jiménez will,
present the effects of a quintuple porosity system coupled with phenomena such as adsorption/desorption and gas diffusion from solid kerogen on the hydrocarbon production from shale reservoirs,
discuss how the presence of nanopores has an impact on fluid properties due to pore confinement, which in turn has impact on the recovery of oil and gas from shales.
Join Dr. López Jiménez this Friday, July 2 @ 18:30 h (Mexico City, CT) via the SPE UIS YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOAcsdQmSJDe_wRc_XAT2cw
