Professor selected as the nominee for the SPE Reservoir Technical Director position

The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) has selected Dr. Rodolfo Gabriel Camacho Velázquez, professor of Petroleum Engineering at UNAM, as the nominee for the Reservoir Technical Director position for the 2022-2024 term.
Dr. Rodolfo Camacho has been notified about his nomination for this position on the SPE International Board of Directors. The latter will vote on this nomination. Assuming the Board approves Dr. Camacho’s nomination, his term will officially begin immediately following the 2021 Annual Technical Conference & Exhibition in Dubai, UAE, and will last for three years.
Nomination and service on the Board of Directors is one of SPE’s highest distinctions. Therefore, we congratulate Dr. Camacho for this special award, which acknowledges his outstanding professional career in both the industry and now in the academia as a professor.
