New Petroleum Engineering Career Coordinator

Berenice Anell Martínez Cabañas has been appointed as the new coordinator of the Petroleum Engineering program. We appreciate the efforts of the previous administration headed by Dr. T. Iván Guerrero Sarabia and we wish great success to M. I. Anell Martínez.
On March 16, M.I. Berenice Anell Martínez Cabañas began her activities as the new head of the Coordination of the Oil Engineering career in place of Dr. Teodoro Iván Guerrero Sarabia.
She is an oil engineer from the Faculty of Engineering, UNAM. He completed postgraduate studies in the Program of Exploration and Exploitation of Natural Resources in the production area. Since 2016 she belongs to the Research group in Multiphase Engineering and Flow Assurance, and is currently a member of the teaching staff of the Faculty of Engineering in subjects such as Multiphase Flow in Pipes, Properties of Petroleum Fluids and Selected Topics in Petroleum Engineering.
She appreciated the confidence provided and valuable support in the transition; she also expressed its commitment to the hard work of guiding students in their degree processes, social service, scholarships, tutoring, and other formalities. Finally, he reiterated his willingness to help students and work on the optimization of procedures in one of the careers with the highest enrollment in the Faculty of Engineering.
