Professor assigned a position at UN

MSc. Ulises Neri Flores, professor in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at UNAM, has been elected as the Vice Chair Latin America-Expert Group on Resource Management (ERGM) of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE). ¡Congrats Professor Ulises Neri!
MSc. Ulises Neri Flores is the new Vice Chair Latin America-Expert Group on Resource Management (ERGM) of the UNECE, effective the end of April 2021. Ulises Neri, as the new Bureau member representing the Latin America region, will provide the liaison between the work of the Expert Group on Resource Management and this region.
We congratulate Professor Ulises Neri Flores for this special role at ONU and we wish him the best of success in this new stage of his brilliant career. This represents an outstanding way to acknowledge his effort, work, and commitment in the development of the hydrocarbons and energy industries, as well as the academia
